Project Introduction

This is the title sequence package designed for the fictional series “NOCTURNE”. In an era of rapidly advancing artificial intelligence, digital life is gradually transforming from a distant, unattainable concept into a tangible reality within our reach. With a mere touch of a finger, this miraculous technology enables the creation of astonishing works—ranging from flawlessly executed programs to exquisite masterpieces of art. From providing domestic companionship to driving industrial operations, AI is constantly reshaping our understanding across every conceivable domain. Yet, this progress brings with it a host of attendant questions: Should we view these artificial intelligences merely as tools, or as companions possessing a unique significance of their own? How should humanity navigate its relationship with them? And once they attain a true sense of self, how are we to define the boundary between life and non-life? ...

The objective of this piece is to employ a visual language to explore new possibilities for the harmonious coexistence of the artificial and the natural in this modern era. Its aesthetic style draws inspiration from Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”; the lines flowing through the biological forms resemble a river bathed in moonlight—serene, beautiful, and tranquil. These lines symbolize the digital life created by human intellect, existing in harmonious symbiosis with the creations of nature, thereby embodying a profound aspiration for peaceful coexistence.
